UNESCO World Heritage of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska
Kalwaria Zebrzydowska is named after the religious complex – calvary. The complex is known as the Kalwaria Zebrzydowska park. A Mannerist Architectural and Park Landscape Complex and Pilgrimage Park from the 17th century was added in 1999 to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
Kalwaria Zebrzydowska is a breathtaking cultural landscape of great spiritual significance. Its natural setting – in which a series of symbolic places of worship relating to the Passion of Jesus Christ and the life of the Virgin Mary was laid out at the beginning of the 17th century – has remained virtually unchanged. It is still today a place of pilgrimage.
Kalwaria Zebrzydowska is an exceptional cultural monument in which the natural landscape was used as the setting for a symbolic representation in the form of chapels and avenues of the events of the Passion of Christ. The result is a cultural landscape of great beauty and spiritual quality in which natural and man-made elements combine in a harmonious manner.
The Counter Reformation in the late 16th century led to a flowering in the creation of Calvaries in Europe. Kalwaria Zebrzydowska is an outstanding example of this type of large-scale landscape design, which incorporates natural beauty with spiritual objectives and the principles of Baroque park design.
Programme : Meeting with the moutain guide at the bus station about 7 a.m., bus to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, visit at the Bernardines’ Closter, walk through the Calvarian Paths, walk to the top of the Żar Mountain and the ruins of the Castle, bus to Kraków about 5 p.m.
The price: 45 euro/pp for the whole day – the group of minimum 4 persons,
The price includes: the mountain guide service (English/German).
Transport and entrances to the national parks you pay on your own, without any additional costs from our side (actual prices available in the office).

Cześć. Naprawdę cieszę się, że się tu znalazłam. Stało się to przypadkowo w czasie buszowania w necie w poszukiwaniu informacji o nieruchomościach. Jestem zaskoczona, że ktoś porusza interesującą mnie tematykę i to dodatkowo robi to w zajmujący sposób. Mam nadzieję, że dostęp do takich treści nie będzie limitowany po niedawnym podpisaniu umowy ACTA przez Polskę
P.S. Jeśli miałabym się do czegoś przyczepić to można by jeszcze troszkę popracować nad Wyglądem bloga.
