The Pieniny National Park – Spisz – Podtatrze
The Pieniny Mountains are totally different from the Beskidy or the Tatra, here beautiful rocks are combined
with green meadows where some flocks of sheep are grazing. Shepherds’ huts and shelters are still the part
of the local culture. Here each rock has its history and you can meet the spirit of the past everywhere. In addition our itinerary includes walk by the unique and charming Dunajec River Gorge, furthermore the castles in Niedzica and Czorsztyn, rise above the opposite sides of Czorsztyn Lake. Next the history
lesson in Spisz region – fascinating stories from the past, told in beautiful forest scenery with the view over the Tatra Mountains. Then the itinerary leads us to the Tatra’s capital city, to Zakopane, where the mountains seem to be within arm’s reach. One day of the trip is designated for the Tatra route excursion. The difficulty of the hike will be adjusted to the physical condition of the participants. One of the last attractions is Chochołów – the mountain village which is the authentic complex of folk style architecture dating from 18/19th century.

Day 3 Sromowce Niżne – Szopka Pass (780m) – Czorsztyn – Sromowce Niżne PTTK Hostel Trzy Korony <4h>
Day 4 Sromowce Niżne – Pawlikowski Wierch (1016m) – PTTK Hostel “Dom Turysty” Zakopane <6h>
Day 5 a hike in theTatra; PTTK Hostel “Dom Turysty” Zakopane
Day 6 a hike in theTatra; PTTK Hostel “Dom Turysty” Zakopane
Day 7 Zakopane – Gruszków – Chochołów, transfer to Cracow, Guest house <4h>
Day 8 transfer to the airport
